The principal of the firm Ben Shahrvini, is a veteran in the geotechnical consulting field with over 30 years of experience in all facets of the geotechnical consulting, including geotechnical issues related to typical flat land or hillside housing developments, commercial and industrial developments, transportation projects, hydraulic structures, harbor facilities, geogrid reinforced walls and slopes, and internally or externally supported excavations via soil nails, anchored bulkheads, tie backs, or braced cuts. Mr. Shahrvini has also frequently served as an expert witness on various geotechnical related issues. Mr. Shahrvini has been a registered professional Civil Engineer in the State of California since 1984. He has also been a professional Geotechnical Engineer in the State of California since 1994.
